I met Apolonia at the 2006 BookCrossing Convention in Toronto (April 2006), and though I’d seen her name around the BC and Relay forums, I didn’t realize she lived only a few towns away from me. The first night I was in town (Thursday), she left a message on my cell phone while NeedSun and I were at dinner. My phone was in my pocketbook under the table so I didn’t hear it ring, but when I retrieved my messages later and heard the area code of her cell phone, I was like, “hey, she lives near me!” LOL Of course, by that time it was 11:30 and I figured she might’ve already headed to bed. Besides, NeedSun and I decided to just stay in the rest of the night and get a bit more unpacked and settled in. However, we met up the very next day, where I found up she was still up for awhile the previous night anyway… though I doubt she would’ve wanted to watch Joanne and I do more unpacking anyway. grin I hope to be seeing more of you chickie! :)
I met Apolonia quite by accident in the elevator going up to the 9th floor at the Downtown Marriott in Toronto for the 2006 BC convention. Something about looking at her and the checked luggage stickers gave me the vibe that the girl was Apolonia! And I was right! Woohoo! :)

Apolonia has the best jewelry, great fashion-sense and a fantastic name (my first time hearing the name). I so enjoyed meeting you at the 2006 BookCrossing Convention.
Apolonia is one of my Bookcrossing friends wave – I know her only via computer, she’s a cool chickadee!
